Dance: Mover & Shakers - Under the Sea with Sponge Bob & Ariel at San Diego Junior Theatre
For grades 1st - 3rd

September 16, 2020-November 18, 2020 (Wednesdays @ 4pm - 5pm) Virtual
Explore the dancer’s tools of body and imagination to share their stories. This class will help each student access their creativity through movement, story dramatization, and the use of costumes and props they have around the house.  Students will add their own personal touches as they sway under the sea with Sponge Bob, Ariel and more.

This class explores the dancer’s tools of body and imagination to share their stories. Students will learn from their own ideas through creative movement, story dramatization, and the use of costumes and props found around the house.  Students will add their own personal touches as they sway to the music under the sea.

For grades 1st - 3rd

September 19, 2020-November 21, 2020 (Saturdays @ 9am - 10am) Virtual
This class is inspired by works like the Lion King, Cats, and Creatures with claws. Students will build fundamental dance skills and explore dance technique through weekly exercises. This class is about dance/movement inside of theatre performance--storytelling, Theatre/Drama.
Workshop : Latin Dance Intensive at San Diego Junior Theatre
For Ages 5th - 12th

September 26, 2020 (Saturday@ 11:00am - 2:30pm) Casa del Prado Building
Our instructor will take students on a deep dive into dance techniques drawn from Latin styles, including the mambo, cha-cha, sharp kicks, staccato and syncopated rhythms. Whether you are auditioning or not, students will enjoy this high energy workshop with Latin flair!
